NYU Post-Master's Certificate in Advanced Practice Nursing: Geriatrics/Interprofessional Primary

NYU College of Nursing, in collaboration with the Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing, is now offering a Post-MS Certificate in Advanced Practice Nursing: Geriatrics, with a special focus on inter-professional primary care for older adults with multiple chronic conditions. The program, designed for the Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) looking to sit for the ANCC Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification Exam, is a flexible, cutting-edge hybrid model divided between synchronous and asynchronous online education, virtual patient simulations, clinical experiences, and low-residency, on-campus classes tailored to the needs of a working professional. The Post-MS Certificate course load includes a unique one-week summer intensive of shared didactic and clinical experiences with NYU School of Medicine primary care residents and students from other NYU professional healthcare/social work programs. Participants will learn from an inter-professional team of nationally and internationally renowned faculty.
