Applications are now open for those wishing to apply to the NCHS/AcademyHealth Health Policy Fellowship and are due January 6, 2014. This Fellowship brings visiting scholars in health services research-related disciplines to the National Center for Health Statistics for a 13-month period to conduct studies of interest to policymakers and the health services research community. The John A. Hartford Foundation encourages researchers focused on aging issues to apply. Applications are now open for those wishing to apply to the NCHS/AcademyHealth Health Policy Fellowship and are due January 6, 2014. This Fellowship brings visiting scholars in health services research-related disciplines to the National Center for Health Statistics for a 13-month period to conduct studies of interest to policymakers and the health services research community. The John A. Hartford Foundation encourages researchers focused on aging issues to apply.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to complete the online 'Statement of Interest' form prior to applying. Once the form is submitted, AcademyHealth and NCHS staff will follow up to provide more guidance and assistance during the application process.
Those who apply should submit proposals that demonstrate knowledge of the NCHS data systems selected for study and their appropriateness for the proposed investigation.
Sufficient time should be allowed to complete the application.
