Hartford Foundation Releases New Report on NLN ACES Initiative
The John A. Hartford Foundation has released a report on the success of the NLN Advancing Care Excellence for Seniors, or ACE.s, initiative--the first national effort to prepare students in all pre-licensure nursing programs, including associate degree programs, to deliver high-quality care to older adults. The Foundation supported the initiative from 2009 to 2012. The report also examines how Hartford’s funding for the initiative catalyzed support and expansion of the program from other private foundations and corporations.
