Challenge Grant: Expanding PHI's Work to Improve Care for Elders

Grant Summary

This challenge grant will provide flexible core support that in concert with other sources of funding targets five key activities that address the Institute of Medicine's recommendations to build the direct care workforce and improve the care of older adults. The five core activities will support health policy implementation, the development of new partnerships, the advancement of direct-care workers, and efforts to promote consumer direction and will increase training capacity through the launch of Web-based courses.
