Top 10 Unanswered Questions Related to Acute Care of Older Persons

The Acute Care of Older Persons Priority Setting Partnership within the Society of Hospital Medicine has posted its white paper, Creating and Supporting a Patient-centered Geriatrics and Hospital Medicine Research Agenda, which outlines the top 10 unanswered questions related to older adults in acute care settings. The research agenda was developed using a patient-centered methodology incorporating older adults advocacy groups as well as providers and other stakeholders. This project was supported with a grant from the Association of Specialty Professors/Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine and the Hartford-foundation funded Integrating Geriatrics into the Specialties of Internal Medicine project.
