George Washington University National Health Policy Forum 2015

Grant Summary

The John A. Hartford Foundation has renewed core support for the non-partisan, DC-based National Health Policy Forum to provide a venue for bi-partisan dialogue and unbiased, expert-driven educational sessions and products for congressional and executive branch staff that will result in the crafting of better policies that meet the health care needs of older adults. Funding will help support at least seven events or reports each year of the grant that will focus largely on alternative payment models and quality and value initiatives that affect older adults, along with a series of basic health policy sessions for new congressional staff in 2017. The Forum's aging-focused programming will also be supported by grants from The Atlantic Philanthropies and the Macy Foundation.
